Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At Succez Vidya, we are committed to student satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available for our coaching classes, study materials, and online courses.

Important: Please read this policy carefully before enrolling in any course or making a payment.

2. Refund Eligibility Timeline

Refund eligibility depends on when you request cancellation relative to the course start date:

Note: "Course commencement" refers to the official start date of the batch, not your enrollment date.

3. Prorated Refund Calculation

For refunds requested after course commencement (within 15 days), the refund is calculated as:

Refund Amount = (Total Fee Paid - Classes Attended Cost - 10% Admin Fee)

Example:

  • Course Fee: ₹20,000
  • Total Classes: 40
  • Classes Attended: 5
  • Per Class Cost: ₹500
  • Refund = ₹20,000 - (5 × ₹500) - (₹20,000 × 10%) = ₹15,500

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Study Materials: Physical books, printed notes, and downloadable PDFs once accessed
  • Recorded Video Lectures: If more than 3 videos have been watched
  • Test Series: Once the first test has been attempted
  • One-on-One Doubt Sessions: After the session has been conducted
  • Registration Fees: One-time registration charges (₹500)
  • Special Workshops: Weekend workshops and crash courses
  • Promotional Discounts: Courses purchased during sale/discount periods

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit Request: Email help@succezvidya.com with:
    • Your full name and student ID
    • Course/batch name
    • Transaction ID and payment proof
    • Reason for refund request
    • Supporting documents (if applicable)
  2. Acknowledgment: You will receive an acknowledgment within 24-48 hours
  3. Verification: Our team will verify your eligibility within 3-5 business days
  4. Approval/Rejection: You will be notified via email about the decision
  5. Refund Processing: If approved, refund will be initiated within 7 business days

5.2 Refund Timeline

  • Credit/Debit Card: 7-14 working days (depends on bank)
  • Net Banking: 7-10 working days
  • UPI/Wallet: 5-7 working days
  • Cash Payments: Bank transfer within 10 working days

Note: Refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction.

6. Special Circumstances for Full Refund

100% refund (excluding gateway charges) may be provided in the following special circumstances:

  • Medical Emergency: Hospitalization or serious illness (doctor's certificate required)
  • Death in Family: Immediate family member (death certificate required)
  • Relocation: Permanent relocation to another city/country (address proof required)
  • Course Cancellation by Us: If Succez Vidya cancels the batch
  • Failure to Deliver: If we fail to provide the promised services
  • Technical Issues: Persistent platform issues making course inaccessible (documented proof required)

Documentation Required: All special circumstance refunds require supporting documents to be submitted within 7 days of the event.

7. Offline vs Online Batch Policies

7.1 Offline Batches

  • Attendance records will be used to calculate prorated refunds
  • Minimum 75% attendance required for course completion certificate
  • No refund if student is absent without valid reason

7.2 Online Batches

  • Video access logs will determine usage
  • Live class attendance will be tracked
  • Downloaded materials are considered "used"

8. Batch Transfer Policy

Instead of a refund, students may opt for a batch transfer:

  • Free Transfer: Within 15 days of course commencement (one-time only)
  • Transfer Fee: ₹1,000 after 15 days (subject to seat availability)
  • Validity: Transfer must be to a batch starting within 6 months
  • Same Course Only: Can only transfer to the same course/class level

9. Payment Gateway Charges

The following charges are non-refundable as they are paid to third-party payment processors:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 2% of transaction value
  • Net Banking: 1.5% of transaction value
  • UPI/Wallets: 1% of transaction value
  • GST (18%) on payment gateway charges

10. Duplicate Payment Refund

If a payment is processed twice by mistake:

  • 100% automatic refund of the duplicate amount
  • No administrative charges
  • Processing time: 5-7 business days
  • No request needed (system will auto-detect)

11. Failed Transaction Policy

If a transaction fails but amount is debited:

  • Amount will be auto-refunded by the bank within 5-7 working days
  • If not refunded automatically, contact us with transaction details
  • We will escalate with the payment gateway

12. Refund Rejection Reasons

Refund requests may be rejected if:

  • Request submitted after the eligible timeline
  • Insufficient or false documentation provided
  • More than 50% of the course has been completed
  • Study materials have been downloaded/accessed extensively
  • Violation of Terms and Conditions
  • Account suspension due to misconduct

13. Refund Appeals

If your refund request is rejected and you wish to appeal:

  1. Submit an appeal to help@succezvidya.com within 7 days
  2. Provide additional documentation supporting your case
  3. Management will review within 10 business days
  4. Decision on appeal is final and binding

14. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Course Downgrades: If switching from premium to basic batch
  • Subject Removal: If dropping individual subjects from combo packages
  • Incomplete Course Delivery: If course ends prematurely due to unforeseen circumstances

15. No Refund Scenarios

Absolutely no refunds will be provided for:

  • Poor academic performance or exam results
  • Change of mind after course completion
  • Inability to attend due to personal schedule conflicts
  • Dissatisfaction with teaching style (after 3+ classes attended)
  • Courses purchased more than 90 days ago
  • Free trial or promotional courses

16. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued enrollment after changes constitutes acceptance.
